Studio Policies.

MEMBERSHIP AND CLASS POLICIES

MINIMUM COMMITMENT – Oak Method memberships are billed monthly on an auto pay basis. By signing up, you agree to pay monthly until you cancel. All autopay memberships (including founding memberships) require a minimum 3-month commitment. If you decide to cancel your Membership before the end of your initial membership commitment, you will be responsible for paying an early termination fee of $100.

Please note that the early termination fee will be charged to the credit card on file used for booking the class.

Founding memberships will be billed for the first month payment upon signing up, and the next membership payment will occur after the first month of classes. 3 month commitment starts at first check in. 

CANCELLATION – Written cancellation notice must be provided via email to hello@oakmethod.fit at least 7 days prior to your next billing date for autopay memberships.

REFUNDS – Refunds will not be issued for any payments made prior to the cancellation request for membership.

MEMBERSHIP FREEZES – Monthly memberships can be frozen for a period of up to 90 days once per year for any reason. To initiate a freeze, written notice must be provided via email to hello@oakmethod.fit at least 14 days prior to the intended membership freezing period. We do require a $20 monthly fee.  

CLASS PACKAGES + MEMBERSHIPS – Transfers, exchanges, price adjustments, and refunds are not applicable to class packages and memberships. Current members are not eligible for new client sales or promotions. Class packages expire as state below:

  • Drop in Class – expires 30 days after purchase

  • 5 class pack – expires 60 days after purchase

  • 10 class pack – expires 90 days after purchase

SCHEDULE – Oak Method uses a 7 day rolling schedule. You will be able to book a class up to 7 days in advance, provided active membership or class pack is available. Due to our limited space, we have a maximum of one class per day for all memberships and class packs.

REFUND AND RETURN POLICIES:

REFUND POLICY – All classes and membership packages are non-refundable.

RETAIL RETURN / EXCHANGE POLICY – Merchandise may be exchanged for store credit within 14 days of the purchase date. To qualify for exchange, items must be unworn, unaltered, and unwashed, with all tags attached and returned in their original packaging.

RESERVATION POLICY:

PUNCTUALITY – We kindly request that all clients arrive on time for their scheduled class. Entry will not be permitted if you are more than 4 minutes late, and your spot may be offered to a standby or waitlisted client. In the event you do not cancel your scheduled class in booking website or app as required under these terms and conditions and you are more than 4 minutes late and your spot is taken by a standby or waitlisted client, you will be charged a no-show fee, as provided below, for the class.

NEW CLIENTS – For your safety, we require you to arrive 10 minutes early before your first session to complete a mandatory safety overview. This is an opportunity to get acquainted with the Megaformer, its features and let us learn more about you. Please let us know if you have any injuries or have any specific fitness goals. 

If you do not show up 10 minutes before your first session, you may be turned away and asked to re-book at a later time. Your session will be returned to your account.

CANCELLATION AND PENALTY FEES:

We understand that plans can change, but please note that if you cancel a class less than 12 hours before the scheduled start time, a late cancel fee of $20 will be applied. Additionally, if you fail to attend a class you have signed up for, a no-show fee will be charged. These fees will be automatically applied to the credit card on file or the payment method used for booking the class.

Due to our limited spaces available, we want everyone to have a chance to take class, and it also helps hold you accountable to yourself and your own fitness goals.

Membership & Class Pack/Drop in Client Fees:

- Late-cancellation fee: $20 

- No-show fee: Loss of class credit + $25

WAITLIST RESERVATIONS – If you join the waitlist for a specific class and a class spot becomes available, your confirmation will be sent to 2 hours before the class starts, subject to the confirmed class cancellation policy. The waitlist will be closed during the  30 minutes before the class, and you will not be moved into the class within that 30 minute timeframe.

MULTIPLE RESERVATIONS – If you have made multiple reservations for the same day, it is your responsibility to cancel any excess reservations within the applicable cancellation window. Please note that Oak Method will not provide refunds for multiple reservations made on the same day. 

ADDITIONAL STUDIO POLICIES:

DRESS CODE:

  • GRIP SOCKS – To ensure a safe experience, grip socks are required for every Lagree class. If you forget to bring your own, you will be required to purchase a pair or you will not be able to participate in the class.

  • Proper athletic attire is required. Oak Method reserves the right to make the final determination in its sole discretion with regards to proper athletic attire. 

PERSONAL BELONGINGS – Please leave values at home. We do not have lockers, we do provide cubbies for personal belongings while in studio. You acknowledge and agree that the Oak Method is not responsible for safeguarding your personal belongings. You accept all responsibility for the risk of loss associated with any of your personal items.

PAYMENT – The Company accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover Card as methods of payment and does not accept personal checks as a form of payment.

COACHES/CLASS SCHEDULE – Coaches and class schedules may be subject to change without prior notice, and standard reservation policies still apply.

PARKING – During the lunch time hours, parking is congested in front of the studio. If your class is between 12:00PM and 2:00PM, please utilize the parking area in front of TJ Maxx and McDonalds. 

CHILDREN – While we love children, we do not have childcare onsite and ask that children are not left unattended in the studio. 

SHOWERS – Due to the size of our studio, we do not have showers. We will provide limited toiletries for your use. This may include spray deodorant, wipes, dry shampoo etc. 

PREGNANCY/MEDICAL – Always consult with your medical professional before starting a new fitness routine. If at any point during the workout, you feel faint, dizzy, or have physical discomfort, you should stop immediately, and consult your doctor before returning.

SMOKING – Smoking is prohibited in or around the studio and within 25 feet of the premise. This includes e-cigarettes, chewing tobacco and vapor pens. 

SECURITY CAMERAS – Oak Method will use security cameras in the studio. These are for security and safety.

IMAGE USE – Oak Method may take photos and videos while class is in session. You acknowledge this material may be used for promotional material. 

RELEASE of LIABILTY/INDEMNETY – You agree and understand there is a risk to any workout routine. You understand and voluntarily accept this risk and release Oak Method LLC, and each of their respective affiliates, and each of their owners, employees, volunteers, agents and independent contractors from all liability for any injury including, without limitation, personal, bodily or mental injury, economic loss or any loss you, you spouse, unborn child or relatives resulting in your use of the facilities, pop up events. With consideration of your being able to participate in Oak Method activities, you agree to defend and hold harmless against any liability, damages, defense cost including attorney fees and any other cost incurred in connection with claims for bodily injury, wrongful death or property damage caused by your negligence or other acts of omission. You further agree to hold harmless, defend and indemnify all parties mentioned above from all liability, damages, defense cost including attorney fees and any other cost incurred in connection with claims for bodily injury, wrongful death or property damage brought on by you or your guest, or minors, even if the above mentioned parties were negligent. Furthermore, you understand & acknowledge the above mentioned parties do not manufacture the equipment, but lease and/or purchase and are not held responsible for defective products.

AGREEMENT TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS – All clients must agree to the terms and conditions of Oak Method, LLC in order to participate in any class.

LIABILTY WAVER – All Clients must agree with the liability waiver of Oak Method, LLC in order to participate in any class.
